Direct Deposit is a easy and safe way to have your money deposited
directly into your Option 1 account. The most common use of
direct deposit is payroll payments. When you use direct deposit,
you allow your employer or other organization to electronically
transfer money into your credit union account. Instead of waiting
in teller lines to deposit your paychecks, the money will automatically
be deposited on an agreed upon date. Direct Deposit offers many
advantages over checks, including:
- Convenience: You can say goodbye to lunch hours spent in
line at the credit union to cash your check.
- Reliability: You can have peace of mind knowing your money
will always be in your account on time.
- Security: With direct deposit, you don’t have to worry about
lost, stolen or misplaced checks.
Ask your employer if they offer Direct Deposit. If they do,
you can sign up for the service right at your human resources
or payroll department (or you can call Option 1 for assistance).
Your employer will still provide you with a pay stub or notice
that lets you know that your Direct Deposit was made.
Direct Deposit is also convenient for pension, annuities, dividends
and any other regular payments you receive by check. Contact
the benefits, human resources or shareholder departments and
ask them how to sign up for Direct Deposit.
If you would like to sign up for Direct Deposit at Option 1,
you will need our Routing & Transit Number (aka ABA Number):
272480432. You will also need to include an extra zero at the
end of your account number.
